CHRISTMAS, A TIME OF GIVING!

May Jesus, the One who came for us, be the One who brings you and yours the joys of His incredible love! Jesus was given to us as the perfect gift! Merry CHRISTMAS!

FATHER WE THANK YOU FOR THAT PORTION OF THE SCRIPTURES WHICH REVEALS TO US YOUR WILL AND YOUR WAY FOR OUR GOOD AND HAPPY LIFE ON EARTH. WE CELEBRATE CHRISTMAS, WHICH WAS YOUR PERFECT GIFT TO US, AND TO THIS DAY YOU CONTINUE TO GIVE US GIFTS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT; THAT WE MAY UNDERSTAND MORE ABOUT YOUR WORD AND HOW WE CAN FOLLOW YOUR TEACHINGS IN THIS MODERN WORLD. GOD HELP TO KEEP OUR HEARTS AND OUR MINDS AND OUR EYES FIXED FIRMLY ON YOU. SO, THAT IT MAY LEAD EACH OF US TO SERVE YOU AS WITNESSES TO YOUR WORD. FATHER, GIVING YOU ALL THE GLORY AND PRAISE… in Jesus’ name, TOGETHER LET US ALL SAY AMEN.

Time of Refreshings

Last week the women of Peace of God Outreach Ministries celebrated Mother’s Day followed by an anointed service on last Wednesday night, followed by a women’s conference on Saturday, and yesterday everything culminated with beautiful Sunday Service. The women of Peace of God Outreach Ministries are known as the Daughter of Thunder. Their theme this year came was “A Time of Refreshing” from Acts 3:19 “Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.” We indeed had a beautiful services all last week. First giving honor to God and to my Senior Pastors Gary and Patricia Stern for their vision and leadership. I give honor to the Daughters of Thunder for their hard work which showed throughout the outstanding programs and worship services. HAPPY FATHER’S DAY

Isaiah 46:3-4 Listen to me...you whom I have upheld since you were conceived, and have carried since your birth. Even to your old age and gray hairs I am he, I am he will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you. I found this illustration for Father’s Day. It is the story of Derek Redmond, a star runner in the 1992 Olympics. Derek was competing for the medal in the 400 meter race. Less than half-way through, he ripped a hamstring muscle and fell to the ground in agony. While the rest of the runners moved past him, Derek managed to get to his feet and began struggling to move forward. Then something caught the attention of the television cameras. Jim, his father, ran past security and onto the race track. At first Derek shrugged him away, saying, "I'm going to finish the race." Jim said to his son, "We've started everything together. Happy New Year!

Genesis 1:1-5 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was a vast waste, darkness covered the deep, and the spirit of God hovered over the surface of the water. God said: "Let there be light," and there was light; and God saw the light was good, and he separated the light from darkness. He called the light day, and the darkness night. So evening came, and morning came; it was the first day. The year 2007 is gone, finished, past. We cannot reclaim it or undo it. The New Year, like a newborn child, which is placed in our hands as the old year passes away. We cannot rest on the things it has brought us. The days and weeks to come are God's gift; they carry God's blessing and the time to show our faith in Jesus as Lord. Let's journey forward, knowing that God already inhabits the future and promises to provide us refreshment.
