Let us pray…

FATHER WE THANK YOU FOR THAT PORTION OF THE SCRIPTURES WHICH REVEALS TO US YOUR WILL AND YOUR WAY FOR OUR GOOD AND HAPPY LIFE ON EARTH. WE CELEBRATE CHRISTMAS, WHICH WAS YOUR PERFECT GIFT TO US, AND TO THIS DAY YOU CONTINUE TO GIVE US GIFTS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT; THAT WE MAY UNDERSTAND MORE ABOUT YOUR WORD AND HOW WE CAN FOLLOW YOUR TEACHINGS IN THIS MODERN WORLD. GOD HELP TO KEEP OUR HEARTS AND OUR MINDS AND OUR EYES FIXED FIRMLY ON YOU. SO, THAT IT MAY LEAD EACH OF US TO SERVE YOU AS WITNESSES TO YOUR WORD. Outwardly, we continue to go through the motions, doing our duties, keeping up appearances, telling everyone that everything is “Fine, just fine,” but inwardly there is a deep thirst, a powerful craving for something more. We would like to t...
